American businessman Andrew Murdza, and a Georgian immigrant in the United States, David Karozia, have condemned Georgia’s government for plagiarizing their idea of building the coastal town called Lazika.
In an interview with the Georgian publication Kviris Palitra, the US businessman said their 32-member team had worked on the project for seven years and planned to spend $11 billion.
Murdoza said he was very offended, adding that the Georgian government acquired a big enemy in his person.
According to him, they had submitted the project to Georgian Ambassador Batu Kutelia back in 2010, and were given a promise that it would be discussed with the World Bank.
