The European Union is going to return ambassadors to Belarus this week, the Polish Press Agency (PAP) reported from Luxemburg, citing diplomatic sources
“We have agreed that the return in Minsk of the Polish ambassador and representative of the EU should be the first sign of solidarity, since it’s them whom Belarusian authorities asked to leave the country,” said the agency sources.
In addition, members of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European Union dedicated a brief discussion to the Belarusian issue at the meeting in Luxembourg on April 23, according to Maya Kotsiyanchich, a spokesperson for the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton.
