le=”text-align: justify; “>The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has not an agreement on refraining from televised debate with any political party, RPA Spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov told Tert. am.
“How can we have such an agreement if I read on Tert.am yesterday that RPA member Samvel Farmanyan said he was ready for a televised debate with the ANC candidate Vladimir Karapetyan.”
The Aravot newspaper reported earlier the RPA and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) representatives “semi-officially” informed mass media they had no intention to hold televised debates either with each other or with other political forces running for parliament now.
Mass media believe the reason for the decision is that all the forces have “glib tongues” in their teams.
