The documents contain a list of human losses and material damage caused by the Armenian Genocide.
Director of the Armenian National Archive Amatouni Virabyan noted that it will be a 22-volume edition.
“In 1918, the data on 29,000 people were recorded. The aim was to demand restitution from Turkey. The documents also contain the names of the commanders of the squads that committed the genocide and of the people that defended Armenians,” he said.
The National Archive staff is now trying to find the documents containing the information on the Armenian catholicate’s property in Western Armenia. Different archives have such information, but the Armenian team is trying to find more facts.
