Armenian vice-premier receives Egyptian journalists

le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenian Vice-Premier, Co-Chairman of the Armenian-Egyptian Intergovernmental Commission Armen Gevorgyan received on Tuesday a group of Egyptian journalists.

The Armenian vice-premier noted the fact that the Egyptian journalists arrived in Armenia on Armenian Remembrance Day, April 24, when the Armenians throughout the world commemorated the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey.

Gevorgyan stressed the importance of get-to-know visits and noted the journalists had an opportunity to get acquainted with Armenian cultural heritage.

The Armenian vice-premier answered the journalists’ questions about Armenian-Egyptian relations, prospects of bilateral economic ties, Armenia’s foreign policy and relations with the regional nations.

Vice-Premier Gevorgyan noted that Armenia is interested in expanding its traditional relations with Egypt, developing economic ties.
