le=”text-align: justify; “>During his working visit to the Syunik region, Armenia, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited the Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine.
The Armenian president participated in the launching ceremony of the new production lines and got acquainted with the combine’s operation.
The Armenian president cut the ribbon of the new building constructed on the Russian $500m loan. The building was constructed under an economic stabilization program.

Artak Ohanyan, Chief Engineer, Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine, said that the project will be launched on full scale before this year end.
“We expect a 20% increase in output and 80 to 100 new jobs,” Ohanyan said.
As regards environmental risk, Ohanyan said that all the production meets all environmental standards.
