Armenian experts believe that due to the possibilities offered by Internet the upcoming May 6 Parliamentary elections will be held in a different format.
Specialists of the sphere say that active online media sites, as well as the development of citizen journalism will result in reduction of violations as compared to past elections, because journalists and citizen activists have quicker way of voicing complaints.
On the other hand the political parties use the Internet quite actively for the purpose of campaigning, attaching importance to this platform. Within the past weeks, for example, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) have revamped their "old fashion" websites, which now give an opportunity to enter the parties' YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages.
