RPA proportional candidates known

The names of the first 76 candidates expected to represent the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) in the coming parliamentary polls are already known.

The extended list of the Party’s proportional candidates is now available on the Internet.

Earlier, the RPA spokesperson, Edward Sharmazanov, had unveiled the names of the top 20 proportional candidates.

At the top of list is President Serzh Sargsyan, who is also the leader of the ruling party. The former speaker of the parliament, Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the incumbent chairman of the National Assembly, Samvel Nikoyan, come next.
