No oligarchs in Armenia, MP says

le=”text-align: justify; “>Karen Chshmarityan, an MP of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), does not think oligarchs are on the RPA list.

“Even in Armenia we have no oligarchs. They are in another country. Armenia with its economy has not the turnover even one of the oligarchs you are speaking of has,” Chshmarityan told journalists on Thursday.

As regards businessmen MPs, Armenia’s law does not prohibit them from being MPs if they are not “actually managing the businesses.”
