Media: Kocharyan not on guest list at PAP=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s upcoming congress

Armenia's former president Robert Kocharyan will not be on the list of guests to attend the upcoming congress of a party he has been said to be the godfather of, according to a media report.

The Yerevan-based pro-opposition daily, Haykakan Zhamanak, inquired from a spokesman for Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP), whether Kocharyan would be invited to the convention due on March 17.

The spokesman, Khachik Galstyan, replied: "No, only the parliamentary factions of the Republican Party of Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Orinats Yerkir and Heritage have been invited to attend the congress."  Read more... (177 words)
