le=”text-align: justify; “>Two camps are marking International Women’s Day in Mashtots park in Yerevan.

The environmentalists’ camp occupied one side of the park, while the Yerevan Municipality is holding festive events on the opposite side.

Some citizens told Tert.am they have never seen such an attitude from the city authorities.

Larisa Alaverdyan, a Heritage party member, and the columnist Marine Petrosyan joined the environmentalists.

Ms Alaverdyan welcomed the idea and congratulated all women, wishing them good health and happiness.

Women must be honored everyday and enjoy equal rights with men, Ms Petrosyan said.

Some young people arrived cycling to the park.
