The chief of Agriculture Ministry’s Food Security Inspection has unveiled plans to sudy the food market.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Abram Baghcagulyan said they will launch inspections on the tea market later this year amid concerns that tea bags contain coloring materials.
Baghcagulyan further spoke of the violations observed in Araks poultry factory. The company said yesterday in a statement that its frankfurters produced on December 12 contained an excessive quantity of nitrites and had to return the product.
“The company was asked to return its product; it conscientiously met the demand and notified the consumer,” Baghchagulyan said, adding that the amount of fines will be clear in a couple of days.
