According to him, socio-economic problems are high on the agenda of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). Even political issues are not so important for the party, the expert said.

“The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) attaches equal importance to political and economic problems. The RPA congress and slogan showed that economy is an important issue in the RPA program,” Adibekyan said.

As regards the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), it is trying to pose as universal political force seeking to resolve various problems. “The question is, however, the voters’ believing their [ANC’s] promises,” the expert said.
