The Ministry of Defense has issued a statement providing details on the death of the contract servicemen killed by an Azerbaijani sniper yesterday.
It particularly says that Sevak A. Aslikyan, a junior sergeant at one of the Ministry’s military units, was found dead in an army base on Wednesday.
According to the statement, a criminal case has been launched under Article 104 (1) of Armenia’s Criminal Code. An inquest is under way.
