le=”text-align: justify; “>The executive body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has finished its last meeting before the RPA’s 13th congress scheduled for Saturday.
Among the issues on the congress agenda is the election of a new executive body.
The executive body discussed the issue and proposed nomination of the following candidates: Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, Parliament Vice-Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, Hermine Naghdalyan and Karen Avagyan, both are members of the RPA parliamentary group.
Gagik Melikyan, Secretary of the RPA parliamentary group, told Tert.am that the executive body received a resignation from only one member, Harutyun Pambukyan. As to the reasons for the resignation, Melikyan has no information.
