Azg: Businessmen on Armenian parties=?UTF-8?B?4oCZIA==?=lists

The question was put pointblank: businessmen must either engage in business or in law-making.

Moreover, the leaders of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) stated that businessmen would not be on the RPA list in the 2012 parliamentary elections.

The fact is, however, that businessmen are on the coalition parties’ lists. Even communists have businessmen on their party lists.

“Les us specify what ‘businessman’ means. By ‘businessmen’ we mean not only business owners, but also executive directors, managers, founders of companies, board members, stockholders, private businessmen. That is, 113 businessmen are on the lists of the eight parties and one political bloc running for parliament.
