Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s national airline, Armenia International Airports reach agreement

le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenia’s national airline, Armavia, and the Armenia International Airports Company finished their 5-hour-long negotiations.

The sides reached an agreement on a debt payment schedule for the airline, Nelli Cherchinyan, Press Secretary, General Department of Civil Aviation, told Tert.am.

Armavia promised to resume its strike in a week if the Armenia International Airports Company refused to reduce its aircraft service charges by 25%. Earlier, the Armavia owner Mikhail Baghdasarov stated his intention to file for bankruptcy.

Cherchinyan said that the sides found mutually acceptable solutions.

The sides are expected to sign a new contract.

Armavia will make comments later.
