Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s budget revenues up

le=”text-align: justify; “>This January, Armenia’s revenues reached AMD 58.8bn – a year-on-year increase of AMD 1.7bn (3%).

Gayane Zargaryan of Armenia’s Ministry of Finance, reported that budget expenditures totaled AMD 37.2bn – a year-on-year increase of AMD 260m (0.7%).

This January, Armenia’s budget revenues in the form of tax revenues, state duties and compulsory payments totaled AMD 55.4bn. – a year-on-year increase of AMD 2.4bn or 4.6%, largely due to an increase in VAT revenues.

Zargaryan also reported increased income and excise tax revenues, state duties and social payments.

Current expenses totaled AMD 36.4bn and constituted a major part of the budget expenditures. They showed a year-on-year increase of AMD 1.2bn or 3.5%.
