Armenian parliamentary delegation to visit Lithuania

A parliamentary delegation headed by Vice Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov is leaving for Lithuania later today.

According to a press release from the National Assembly, the delegation includes the secretary of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction, Gagik Melikyan, and a member of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) faction, Ara Nranyan.

The Armenian delegates will have meetings with the Lithuanian parliament speaker and vice speaker, and members of the Lithuania-Armenia parliamentary group.

They are also scheduled to meet with Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Evaldas Ignatavicius and hold a news conference in the country’s chief lawmaking body.
