At his meeting with journalists on Friday, Chaqryan answered a question as to why the French leader did not immediately sign the bill into law thereby allowing it to be appealed to the Constitutional Council. “May be, he was not in a hurry to attach high importance to the bill, but I cannot doubt his sincerity,” the expert said.
Chaqryan warns against getting disappointed at the French Constitutional Council’s ruling. It was France’s initiative rather than Armenia’s. So it is a threat to France’s international reputation.
