Armenia 64th in Women=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Economic Opportunities Index

Armenia ranks as the 64^th country in the 2012 Women’s Economic Opportunities Index.

The report from the Economist Intelligence Unit is aimed at exploring the economic landscape that women face globally and highlights which countries offer the most and the fewest opportunities. It is based upon the findings of the United Nations, International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Health Organization (WHO) etc.

Armenia secured the 64^th place in the list of 128 world countries. Georgia is the 59^th in this year’s index; Azerbaijan places the 90^th. Russia and Turkey lag behind Armenia, ranking as the 66^th and 67^th countries, respectively.

At the top is Switzerland followed by Norway and Finland. Yemen, Chad and Sudan were found to have the worst records.  Read more... (127 words)
