OSCE Ministerial Council opening in Vilnius

The18th OSCE Ministerial Council is already kicking off in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The forum is expected to bring together foreign ministers from OSCE’s 56 participating states and North Africa, and the 12 partner countries of Asia.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will also attend the session.

The discussion will particularly address measures for fostering trust in military and security spheres, fight against cyberbullying and drug circulation, protection of journalists and energy security.

The participants will reportedly adopt a joint statement on Nagorno-Karabakh.

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan will represent the country at the meeting.
