Former Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan has been appointed a deputy president of Gazprombank.
Speaking to Tert.am, Shushan Sardaryan, a spokesperson for Hayrusgazard company, said an order to appoint Karapetyan the bank’s first deputy president was signed on December 2.
Karapetyan resigned from office on October 28, explaining the move by personal circumstances and plans for a new promotion.
Following his resignation rumors were circulating that Karapetyan was going to assume a leading post in Gazprom company.
