Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims’ Office Allahshukur Pashazadeh, who was recently in Yerevan to attend the CIS Interreligious Council Session, has characterized his visit to the Armenian capital very hard.
“It was very hard for me to go there. My inner voice was telling me that if I am travelling there to speak the truth, it doesn’t matter where I go. I should have attended [the session], mo matter the place,” he said in an interview with ANS TV. “Besides, elections were scheduled on the sidelines of the event, and my presence as a co-chairman was just necessary. Otherwise I would have been deprived of the opportunity to disclose to the world community the truth about Azerbaijan from such international tribunals as the UNESCO and the United Nations.”
