Armenia’s Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan has said that the inflation in December-January will not significantly affect citizens living conditions.

Speaking at the parliament on Wednesday, Gabrielyan said that the inflation is at a controllable range.

“In December-January inflation will not significantly affect people’s welfare and consumption as it is a planned and foreseen one,” said he.

Gabrielyan was responding to a statement by Stepan Safaryan, MP from the opposition party Heritage, who accused the government of failing to control inflation.

“Don’t feed us with statistics! When will the government’s pledges become reality?” Safaryan had asked.
