Serzh Sargsyan=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Statement Not Tied to HAK=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Demand: HHK Spokesperson

In the last three years, both the events of March 1, 2008, and the deplorable issues in the justice sector have always been in Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s focus of attention, ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) press spokesperson Eduard Sharmazanov told Epress.am today, responding to a question on whether Sargsyan’s statement yesterday on a “new momentum and pronounced activation” into investigating the post-2008 election violence was a fulfilling of one of the Armenian National Congress’ demands.

According to Sharmazanov, the Armenian president is in favor of resolving issues through civilized dialogue and “our [Armenian National] Congress colleagues understand this.”

“In my opinion, they have to reject kickboxing and move on to chess. Speaking from positions of force is not allowed in the political arena,” he said.  Read more... (242 words)
