Twenty-three minor inmates serving alternative punishment have visited the Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan and paid tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims.
The visit to the Tsitsernakaberd was organized by the department of criminal actions at Armenia’s Ministry of Justice.
The inmates placed flowers at the monument and then entered the Genocide-Museum Institute and walked in the halls, watching the photos exhibited, as well as documentaries about the Genocide.
The minor inmates further left their impressions in the book of memory and expressed hope that no such crime against humanity will ever take place in the world.
