“Armenia has mutually beneficial relations with Iran and plans to develop them,” announced today RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.
“We have dynamically developing relations with Iran and good economic cooperation. We have implemented and continue to implement different joint projects, especially in the spheres of energy and transportation. There are active contacts and mutual visits. I was recently in Iran, we are currently preparing for the Armenian prime minister’s visit to Iran and Chairman of the Iranian parliament Mr. Larijani was in Armenia a couple of days ago,” said the Minister.
Is Armenia joining the sanctions against Iran? In response, Edward Nalbandyan said:
“Of course, all member states of the UN must respect the decisions of the UN Security Council as it is required according to the UN Charter. Armenia doesn’t believe in finding solutions through force or sanctions.
