Armenia's Further Actions Depend on Turkey

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian says the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations as rather “complicated.”

Armenia demonstrated an earnest desire to better ties with Turkey, Minister Nalbandian said in the Armenian National Assembly today, adding that the country’s stance on the issue did not differ from that of the international community.

“In diplomatic sphere, any country seeks the support of the international community. Armenia enjoyed the support throughout the process, till the suspension of the talks. At the initial stage of the process, Yerevan did its utmost for advancement of the normalization process. “
Further, Mr. Nalbandian reminded the words of U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton uttered in Yerevan, “The ball is in Turkey’s court.”
