Tourist Numbers Up 11.3% in 2014

The number of tourists visiting Armenian totaled 1,230,000 in 2014, an increase of 11.3% over the previous year, according to the country’s National Statistical Service (NSS).

The NSS says that 31.4% of the tourists came from CIS countries and 30.1% from the EU member states.

1.2 million Armenians citizens vacationed overseas in 2014, an increase of 10.9% over 2013, according to the NSS.
