Russia expects concrete steps from the Georgian authorities for the regulation of bilateral relations.
Russian media report that it was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich, who commented on the appointment of Zurab Abashidze as Georgia's PM's special representative on Russia.
"I think it is not expedient to make any forecasts about Abashidze's activity. We know him as a person who worked as an ambassador in our country," Lukashevich said, asked how the special representative can contribute to the regulation of relations.
