Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu commented today on the statements of some states, Iran and Russia in particular, on deployment of Patriot zenith-rocket systems on its border with Syria.
"After the danger on our border eliminates we will return the systems to the countries we have brought them from," he told CNNturk.
Davutoglu said these systems ensure Turkey's security and as far as no rocket attack has been registered on the border, the systems will not be used.
"The most important is the elimination of risky factors on Turkey's border. And everything necessary for it will be done," he said, adding that neither of countries should be concerned with it.
Turkey applied to NATO for the location of zenith-rocket systems along its 900-km-long border with Syria. Russia, Syria, Iran criticized Turkey's step.
