A teenage Armenian boy band will soon be on a Dutch stage to try to win the hearts of European audiences with its Beatles style performance.
The final show of the 10th Junior Eurovision hosted by Amsterdam this year is scheduled for December 1. The contest brings together performers from 12 European countries, including Armenia, this year represented by the Compass Band.
The quartet won the Armenian national selection with its upbeat "Sweetie Baby" tune calling on all girls to smile.
The band formed in November 2011 by four 13-year-old students of Yerevan's Chekhov School (David Paronikyan, Arshavir Grigoryan, Aram Tsaturyan and Abraham Aznauryan) held a few concerts during the one year of its existence.
