President Serzh Sargsyan is set to travel to Lebanon on a two day official visit this Monday.
According to a press release by the Armenian leader's office, he is scheduled to meet with the country's top leadership (including President Michel Sleima and National Assembly speaker Nabih Berri) and attend an extended session with Lebanese parliamentarians, prime minister and local Armenians.
The president will also visit Antelias to meet with Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia.
He will also have meeting with the faculty and students of the Haykazyan University.
The official visit agenda also envisages meetings with President of Evangelical Churches, Rev Mkrtich Karagyozyan and Armenian Catholic Patriarch of Cilicia Nerses Bedros XIX. Sargsyan will later attend the opening of a cultural center expected to mark 500th anniversary of Urbatagirk, the first Armenian printed book. He will then visit an exhibition of manuscripts and ancient print books.
The signing of bilateral cooperation agreements is also on the agenda.
