Armenian group to perform at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013

The Compass group, which is to represent Armenia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013, is to leave for Amsterdam, November 26."The work will get under way as soon as they arrive in Amsterdam. This year we intend to focus on documentary video. Each step will be video recorded and demonstrated during the show. We will try to come into the limelight," Gohar Gasparyan, Head of the Armenian delegation, told journalists on Friday.The 13-year-old members of the Compass group – Abraham, David, Aram and Arshavir – say they will do their best to win. "It is great responsibility to represent our nation at such a serious contest," the boys say.In cooperation with the director they decided to prepare a Beatle performance.The dress rehearsal is scheduled for December 1, when the jury is to rate their performance. The viewers will cast their votes on the contest day."We closely watched the Eurovision in previous years and I have always dreamt of appearing on that stag e," say the boys.
