Putin, Erdogan have tense conversation over Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a tense telephone conversation with the Turkish premier over the situation in Syria.
The Russian leader reportedly told Recep Tayip Erdogan that a Turkish soldier's incursion into Syria would be treated equivalent to an incursion into Russia's territory,
Erdogan said the situation in Syria is a threat which their country cannot admit, Esonhaber reports, citing the Turkish publication Aydinlik.
"Accept it whichever way you like," Putin said in turn.
His response was reportedly the last remark of the conversation which was suddenly cut.
Sources say Putin hanged up the receiver, but the Syrian media claim none of the sides interrupted the conversation.
