Everyone concerned with Karabakh conflict settlement, OSCE Secretary General says

Everyone is concerned with the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and with the situation on the line of contact. Only this year 28 people were killed there, Lamberto Zannier OSCE Secretary General, told Russian Interfax.

"I personally share this concern, we continue assisting the OSCE Minsk Group and its co-chairs efforts. But no international effort may be effective if the conflicting parties do not have political will to reach success in the talks," he said.

The OSCE Secretary General noted that he has voiced his opinion at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries held in New York recently.

"Return to the main essence of talks is the only way not to allow deterioration of the situation and ensure security," the Secretary General said.
