Since the Beginning of Summer Freight 23.600 Passengers have Been Transported by Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan Train

23,600 passengers have been transported by CJSC "South Caucasus Railway" since the brand train "Armenia" has started running in the direction of "Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan". This figure is 12.2% higher than the data in 2011 when a little more than 21 thousand passengers were transported for the period from June 15 to August 9.

In total, 34,899 tickets were sold for the brand train “Armenia”, which is 26.3% over last year’s figure of 27.6 thousand tickets during the period from June 1 to August 9.

At the same time only in the period from 1st to 9th August 7512 passengers were transported (an increase of 25.3% over the same period 2011) and 6787 tickets were sold (an increase of 74.6%).  Read more... (221 words)
