The OSCE Mission conducted on Thursday its scheduled monitoring on the Contact Line between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and Azerbaijan.
In accordance with a previously reached agreement with the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities, the group observed a borderline section leading to Askeran.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by the personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzey Kaspzyk (Poland). The monitoring group included two field assistants, Irjie Aberle (Czech Republic) and William Prior (Great Britain). Representatives from Karabakh's Foreign and Defense Ministries accompanied the mission representatives.
On the opposite side, the group comprised Antal Herdich (Hungary), a field assistant of the personal representative, and Peter Kee (Great Britain), a coordinatoring.
According the a press release by the NKR Foreign Ministry, no violation of the cease-fire were observed during the monitoring.
