The paper says it has learned from sources that several opposition MPs met on Thursday to discuss the law enforcement agencies' responses related to the deadly incident of the Harsnaqar restaurant.
The meeting reportedly brought together lawmakers of the opposition alliance Armenian National Congress (ANC), the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) and the Heritage party.
Citing its sources, the paper says that the responses are now under expert study, with the parliamentary factions expected to issue their joint opinion in the near future.
Following military doctor Vahe Avetyan's tragic death in the aftermath of severe beatings by Harsnaqar security guards, the three factions sent a questionnaire to the Prosecutor General's Office and the Government in an attempts to reveal the chief culprits, particularly the owner of the restaurant, Ruben Hayrapetyan who represents the ruling Republican Party faction in National Assembly.
