Commenting on his team's 2-1 loss to Germany yesterday, Dutch national coach Bert van Marwijk remarked that he hasn't lost all hope.
"We played a great game the first twenty minutes and everything went according to plan. We had a few chances but the Germans scored their goal from nothing. We gave them too much space," Marwijk lamented.
The Dutch coach noted that the Germans faced problems after Robin van Persie scored for Holland, but added that luck didn't shine on the orange shirts yesterday.
Marwijk said his offensive line has played well against the Danes and Germans but that the same cannot be said for the defense.
