Despite yesterday's heartbreaking 3-2 loss to Portugal, Danish football coach Morten Olsen said he was proud of the football displayed by his team in their 1-0 win over Holland and even prouder of their second half play in yesterday's game.
"I am hopeful we won't face a similar disappointment. We were worthy of a point. If we had a little more luck we could have played to a draw," said Olsen, adding that's it's great to have possession of the ball but, in the end, what matters are goals.
"Our goals were interesting but the Portuguese scored three to our two. The fact that we were tires played a role," remarked Olsen.
