HAK Members Resign from Yerevan Municipal Council

At today's session of the Yerevan Municipal Council, several members of HAK (Armenian National Congress) elected to the body handed in their resignations.

Those doing so were Lyudmila Sargsyan, Levon Zourabyan, Stepan Demirchyan, Hrant Bagratyan and Khachatour Kokobelyan.

Rouslan Baghdasaryan and Artavazd Sargsyan, members of the HHK (Republican Party of Armenia) elected to the Council from the Ajapnyak and Davtashen districts of Yerevan, also tendered their resignations.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan said he would forward copies of the resignation requests to the RA Central Electoral Commission.
