le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Iran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi, met with the President of the Islamic Republic Mahmud Ahmadinejad.
According to Armenia’s ministry’s press release, the parties hailed the dynamically developing relations between the two countries, discussed the process of implementation of joint economic programs, referred to the projects on construction of Armenia-Iran high voltage third power transmission line, hydro-power plant on Arax River, oil pipeline and oil store, Iran-Armenian railway. Iranian president stressed the importance of implementation of the projects.
Later that day, Armenian minister met with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi. The parties agreed that the meetings give an opportunity to follow the process of implementation of arrangements reached between the highest leaderships of the two countries.
