On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the Armenian genocide, President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has issued an address, calling upon the Armenian nation to join its efforts towards achieving the recognition, condemnation and prevention of the terrible crime against the humankind.

Dear compatriots,
In the history of our people, April 24 has become the day of pain and slaughter, the day of hardship and grief that unites all the world spread Armenians for the remembrance of 1,5 million innocent victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. It unites us against evil and crime, violence and terrorism that must be recognized and condemned by humankind. We are grateful to all those who are with us today and who raise their voice for the triumph of justice.
