Hraparak: Robert Kocharyan in Moscow

The paper says it has learned from sources that Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan, is now in Moscow on a visit.

But no details are available about his mission, it comments.

Noting that Russian President-elect Vladimir Putin is expected to deliver a welcoming speech at the Prosperous Armenia party’s (PAP) congress later today, the author of the report says that Kocharyan might be behind that initiative.

Citing its sources the paper says further that the second president previously had plans to make a call for voting in favor of PAP but refrained from doing that by the recommendation of some people. He was reportedly told that such move might harm the party, instead of helping it.
