Armenian president meets German FM

le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting on Friday with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle.

The Armenian leader stressed Armenia attaches high importance to friendly relations with Germany and development of political dialogue and comprehensive cooperation.

Armenia is interested in developing political, economic, educational, scientific, cultural ties with Germany, President Serzh Sargsyan said.

Minister Guido Westerwelle made a high appraisal of Armenian-German relations. He pointed out close bilateral cooperation in strengthening the ties in an atmosphere of mutual confidence. The German FM said that, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Armenian-German diplomatic relations, Germany is willing to expand bilateral relations.
