Documentaries by young Armenian and Turkish journalists were screened in Yerevan on Monday as part of a broader exchange project in which media representatives have been enabled to look beyond the political issues into more societal problems that exist on both sides of the closed border.
About a year ago a group of six Armenian and six Turkish students was formed as part of a dialogue between the two countries' media assisted by the Internews media support NGO. Working in Armenia and Turkey they were to produce films about what they had seen and felt in their neighboring country.
