Armenian PM, EU commissioner discuss joint programs

As part of his visit to Brussels, Belgium, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan met EU Comissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stephan Fule.

According to a press release by the Government, the discussion focused on the current reforms in Armenia, and joint programs. The prime minister reiterated Armenia’s commitments to its obligations under the EU-Armenia collaboration plan.

“We are implementing a serious and ambitious reforms program. We have introduced the new World Bank sponsored industrial development concept to the society. We held a public hearing to discuss it with political parties and non-governmental organizations,” the prime minister said at the meeting.
