On the other hand, when the Parliament failed to make a decision for lack of quorum, but the decision was a necessary one, “they decided to hold a fresh voting,” Anahit Bakhshyan, a Heritage parliamentary group member, told Tert.am as she commented on Parliament Speaker Samvel Nikoyan’s decision on a fresh voting on a number of bills on Dec. 8. She stressed an “illogical justification” for the decision.
“After holding six votes we realized that very few Parliament members were present because it is December 7 today,” Bakhshyan said.
